Neon Rain
Mickey Song looks like any of Edge City's young company men, but his business is a more (overtly) lethal one: he guns people down. He served as a marksman in the military, until he was discharged due to a series of severe concussions. But just because the government no longer tells him who to shoot doesn't mean Mickey stopped shooting. He's since served as an enforcer for cartels and companies alike—and doesn't see much difference between the two. For the moment, he's an independent contractor, trading on name recognition. Mickey Song strikes fear into the hearts of even Edge City's most powerful: after all, no amount of wealth has ever stopped him from making a kill.
Mickey's weapons toggle between shooting bullets and lasers. Bullets feel old-fashioned, but a good blood splatter can be intimidating, and Mickey has a reputation to uphold. On the other hand, lasers are self-cauterizing—no blood, no trace, save for the reek of burning flesh—and are fearsome in their own right.
When Mickey doesn't have a gun in hand, his hobbies include posting cheesy image macros to social media, bargain hunting, and birdwatching.
Mickey's pistols and sniper rifle can be modified to shoot lasers instead of bullets (or vice versa), as part of an action. s

Use: Characters hear gunfire, followed by a revving engine. PCs are hired to protect someone Mickey plans to assassinate.
Other Equipment: Mickey is well-stocked with ammunition for all of his guns.
GM Intrusion: Mickey Song fires a tranquilizer dart, dazing the target so that all their actions are hindered for several minutes and they must make a Might defense roll to avoid falling unconscious.
