Neon Rain
Sophia Cantos blends in on the streets of Edge City—most people wouldn't look at her twice. Her ability to escape notice is only part of why she's the best assassin on Halo's payroll. The other factors contributing to her success? Her reaction time's enhanced, the blades implanted in her fingertips stay retracted until the last moment, and she has something cybernetics can't provide: an innate doggedness that no adversary has managed to break. Sophia never misses a kill, and she never says die.
Technically speaking, she didn't choose to work for Halo. Her loyalty is to her handler Abel Leonard, who she's worked with since the age of ten. When a series of mergers brought Abel under Halo's control, it was only natural for Sophia to tag along.
Abel Leonard: level 6; perception, persuasion, and intimidation as level 7
Denizens of Edge City's club scene see her as well-connected: the type of person you talk to when you're looking to be put in touch with someone else, whether that's a dealer, fence, or doctor. To them, Sophia comes off as tough, but not imposing—and she knows all the best places to have a conversation without being overheard. Her bosses see her as no-nonsense and reliable. Her quarry typically don't see her at all.
Sophia's work requires frequent travel. When in Edge City, she sleeps in a pod on the top floor of Four Penny Coffin.
Motive: Finish the job, at any cost
Environment: Edge City, or elsewhere if an assignment requires it
Health: 20
Damage Inflicted: Moderate wound (7 points)
Armor: 1

She can deploy her retractable claws as part of an action and can make two slashing attacks as one action (one with each hand).
Though she does her best work up close, Sophia may also make a very long range attack with a sniper rifle.
Interaction: Sophia is a chameleon, melding her personality and mannerisms to the situation—but she's generally aloof, laid-back, and practical. She can't feign interest when a topic bores her; most of her attention is reserved for her work, which she doesn't freely discuss.
Use: A character is hunted by Sophia, possibly for a transgression they didn't commit. A character rents the bunk beside hers at Four Penny Coffin.
Other Equipment: Sophia carries two doses of Calcichloride® and one dose of Last Gasp®.
