Rages

Cypher System Rulebook 1e

When you go berserk, everyone fears you.

Tier 1

Frenzy (1 Intellect point) Enabler

When you wish, while in combat, you can enter a state of frenzy. While in this state, you can't use Intellect points, but you gain +1 to your Might Edge and your Speed Edge. This effect lasts as long as you wish, but it ends if no combat is taking place within range of your senses.

Tier 2

Greater Enhanced Might Enabler

You gain 6 points to your Might Pool.

Tier 2

Movement Skills Enabler

You are trained in climbing and jumping.

Tier 3

Power Strike (3+ Might points) Enabler

If you successfully attack a target, you knock it prone in addition to inflicting damage. The target must be your size or smaller. You can knock down a target larger than you if you apply a level of Effort to do so (rather than to ease the attack).

or

Unarmored Fighter Enabler

While unarmored, you are trained in Speed defense tasks.

Tier 4

Greater Frenzy (4 Intellect points) Enabler

When you wish, while in combat, you can enter a state of frenzy. While in this state, you can't use Intellect points, but you gain +2 to your Might Edge and your Speed Edge. This effect lasts as long as you wish, but it ends if no combat is taking place within range of your senses. If you have the Frenzy ability, you can use it or this ability, but you can't use both at the same time.

Tier 5

Attack and Attack Again Enabler

Rather than granting additional damage or a minor or major effect, a natural 17 or higher on your attack roll allows you the option of immediately making another attack.

Tier 6

Greater Enhanced Potential Enabler

You gain 6 points to divide among your stat Pools however you wish.

or

Lethal Damage Enabler

Choose one of your existing attacks that inflicts points of damage (depending on your type and focus, this might be a specific weapon, a special ability such as a blast of fire, or your unarmed attacks). When you hit with that attack, you inflict an additional 5 points of damage.

GM Intrusions: It's easy for a berserker to lose control and attack friend as well as foe.
