Neon Rain
Some of your organic parts have been replaced with artificial components. Like most people in the city, you are a cyborg, but your augmentations are extensive, and they assist you with ranged combat. You almost certainly have metal plating and technical components visible on your skin. As you advance, you can add to, modify, or discover new functions for your machine parts.
You can attempt an intimidation task against your foe as part of this action; if you succeed, the foe immediately surrenders.
Your attack makes the foe bleed for 1 point of damage (plus 1 point for every level of Effort added to the attack's damage) each round until someone uses an action to bind the wound.
⚡ — denotes a cyberware-derived ability.
Type swap option:
You gain smart link cybernetics in both of your hands. Enabler.
Your machine parts grant you +1 to Armor and +2 to your Speed Pool.
You inflict 1 additional point of damage with guns.
You can spend points from either your Speed Pool or your Intellect Pool to apply levels of Effort to increase your gun damage. Each level of Effort adds 3 points of damage to a successful attack, and if you spend a turn lining up your shot, each level of Effort instead adds 5 points of damage to a successful attack.
You inflict an additional 3 points of damage with your chosen weapon.
or
You gain an embedded pistol cybernetic in one of your arms. You are trained in using this weapon. (If you replace this embedded weapon with another, you lose the training in the previous weapon and gain training in the new one.)
You can make two gun attacks as a single action, but the second attack is hindered by two steps.
Choose one type of attack in which you are trained: light bashing, light bladed, light ranged, medium bashing, medium bladed, medium ranged, heavy bashing, heavy bladed, or heavy ranged. You are specialized in attacks using that type of weapon.(If you aren't trained in an attack, select Skill With Attacks to become trained in that attack.)
You gain a limited AI that assists you in eliminating a chosen foe. Choose one target you can see within very long range. For the next ten minutes, you gain an asset to all tasks (including attacks and defenses) involving that target. You can only use the advanced targeting system against one creature at a time.
or
Choose one of your existing attacks that inflicts points of damage (depending on your type and focus, this might be a specific weapon, a special ability such as a blast of fire, or your unarmed attacks). When you hit with that attack, you inflict an additional 5 points of damage.
GM Intrusions: A firearm jams or overheats and can't be used for a couple of rounds (perhaps requiring the character to take an action to correct the problem). A software error makes the character attack the wrong foe.
