Sometimes belief can be powerful. Even in mundane circumstances, the mind can affect the reality of the individual. Faith can empower us, but the truly faithful are as rare as Strangers. Still, some of us find ourselves in the bodies of those who find solace in a higher power—such solace that they can draw upon it in times of need. Their quickened nature makes this power all the more real.
Your faith is bolstered by your success, recovering one point in a stat Pool of your choice.
The gods smile upon you. You may reroll your next failed roll at no XP cost.
You are a recognized member of a religious order. You enjoy an asset in social tasks related to recruit.ment and conversion to your faith. Additionally, you are entitled to food and shelter at places of worship for your order.
You may pray during a recovery roll, adding ten minutes to the time required but gaining two additional Pool points in recovery.
When you are in a location sanctified or sacred to your faith you gain a free effort on all tasks at no Pool cost, with the normal limits of your Effort rating.
Whenever you hold a holy relic of your faith in one hand, you count as trained in all defense skills.
When attacking the enemies of your faith or order you deal 2 additional damage. s
You cannot be persuaded or mentally controlled to give up on a task or quest of your order. You enjoy an asset on physical tasks when overcoming obstacles to your completion of holy tasks.
GM Intrusion: Temptation against your vows or holy restrictions strikes, potentially threatening your faith in yourself and your position within the clergy.
