First Responders
When an emergency happens, the team looks to you to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. You know how to keep everyone calm and motivated, wrangle the team and the equipment, and take the 30,000-foot view of the situation.
While you maintain this ability through ongoing inspiring oration, your allies within short range ease one of the following task types (your choice): defense tasks, attack tasks, or tasks related to any skill that you are trained or specialized in.
You can use the helping rules to provide a benefit to another character attempting a physical task. Unlike the normal helping rules, this doesn't require you to use your action helping the other character with the task. This requires no action on your part.
Ability Choice: Choose either Scene Insight or Team Leader as your tier 3 ability.
When dealing with an emergency or disaster of any kind, you can ask the GM one question to gain an idea of the scene's scope, origin, and weaknesses (if any); how it can best be dealt with; or any other similar query. Action
When working with a group of people who have a shared goal (such as putting out a fire, rescuing a victim, and so on), you project a confident, knowledgeable, and calming presence. Everyone on your team (including yourself) who can see or hear you can choose to reroll a single task for free. You can't use this ability again until after your next ten-hour rest.
