Unforgiving
?
You've always been stubborn, but more than anything else, you're a champion grudge-holder. If someone does you wrong, you don't forget. That doesn't mean you're single-minded in your need for revenge, just that when the opportunity finally presents itself, you get your payback. On the other hand, you've learned to give your friends some leeway. Not every slight is intentional. But those who knowingly hurt you (or, worse, the people close to you) had better watch out.
If you like, you can work with your GM to come up with an event in your character's past that made you unforgiving. The bad feelings from this event overshadow your other grudges and sometimes appear in your dreams. If you can find resolution one day, maybe you'll no longer be so unforgiving.
You gain the following characteristics:
- Battered But Not Beaten: +4 to your Might Pool.
- Skill: Payback requires knowing where to find those who've wronged you. You're trained in any task that involves finding and following tracks.
- Skill: You may be unforgiving, but that doesn't make you blind to the truth or susceptible to disinformation. You're trained in Intellect defense actions.
- Inability: Being unforgiving sometimes makes you a hard person to be around. The difficulty of all tasks related to pleasant social interaction is increased by one step.
