You're young-or, at least, you were once. Most of the time, you're cynical, and when you're not, it's because you really don't care. When you miss work, you feel bad, but you've developed the trick of dismissing that feeling from your mind almost immediately. That explains why you've gone through so many jobs. On the other hand, there always seems to be something else right around the corner. You've screwed up, certainly, but things seem to go your way. Lately, you're trying to turn over a new leaf, but, dude, it's so hard to straighten up and fly right, especially if you have to get out of bed before 10 a-m.

You gain the following characteristics:

• Too Smart for Your Own Good: +2 to your Intellect Pool.
• Just Lucky: When you roll a natural 1, you can reroll it without spending XP. If you roll a 1 a second time, the GM can use GM Intrusion normally.
• Inability: You never studied, though you may pretend otherwise. The difficulty of any task that involves knowledge, lore gained by study, or problem solving is increased by one step.
